I’ve always admired The Piedmont Virginian — a quarterly magazine with surprising heft and high quality design. It always showed me Walter Nicklin’s wide-ranging interests. Now in Dennis Brack’s capable hands, it really helps set the tone for our region, from Loudoun to the north all the way to Nelson County in the south.
So I was pleased when the Winter 2014 issue arrived here in South Florida. It features a great spread by Dennis & Co. excerpting the first two chapters of Mother Fracker. Fine graphics. Love the “Enter Mosby Co.” sign. It really is a high honor.
Pick up a copy on your rounds in the magazine’s coverage area — from Harper’s Ferry to south of Charlottesville. Fine photography, art, dining, culture. PV has it all.
Look for the book’s ad in the magazine because it offers a unique promo code for PV readers and MF purchasers.
And check out the recipe for double chocolate brownies on page 33.
